What exactly is the Virginia’s Sexy Body Boot Camp?


Our Boot Camp is a six-week program held outdoors that provides instruction on fitness and nutrition, with loads of motivation and fun! Boot Camp is led by Fredericksburg's top two fitness instructors: Rich Lauro and April Smith. Both are highly qualified. Rich is a fitness expert,  author and publisher of numerous special weight loss report and articles and has 18 years of experience as a fitness trainer and sports injury specialist.

Boot Camp consists of calisthenics, light running and body weight and dumbbell exercises. The goal is to get you moving, elevate your heart rate and build lean muscle so your body burns DOUBLE the amount of fat. NOTE: Ladies, don’t worry – you will not get big and “bulky” I promise.

Muscle takes up less space than fat and will make you more shapely. Replacing fat with muscle will make you smaller, tighter and firmer…your dress size will go down, not up!

Each day, camp will be one hour in length starting at 6:30 pm and ending at 7:30 pm.

What if I'm not in very good shape?


At Virginia’s Sexy Body Boot Camp we use a progressive system that works for all fitness levels. If you’re not in very good shape, You will go at your own pace (there will be others in the same boat as you, so you won’t be left behind).

Your body will adapt quickly to the proper stimulus. We will SAFELY challenge you – never more so than you can handle. With years of experience working with all ages and fitness levels, we have this progressive programming down to a science.

Just know that you are welcome at Virginia’s Sexy Body Boot Camp regardless of your fitness level, and you will not feel out of place, even if you think of yourself now as being totally out of shape. You are not alone. Help is here, both from us (your instructors) and the friendly, caring support you will receive from the other camper’s. We work as a team, inspiring and being inspired, and everybody wins!

What types of exercises and activities are included in the program? 


We perform full body fat burning workouts. Each day may have a different theme. One day might be developing the “core” muscles of your body. And for most people, that’s where all the problems are. Another day we may concentrate on working on getting a sexy butt. Yet another day we may work more on legs. Each day will be different.

So if you have that flabby skin on the backs of your arms, or you want your shoulders to look great for that strapless gown, or you need to slim down your thighs…all of those body parts will benefit tremendously from the exercises we do at the boot camp.

There will also be some short distance running from time to time of less than a mile, body weight exercises to increase your strength, circuit training, some Pilates movements, running obstacle courses and much more.


How often will we meet for Boot Camp?
You will meet with us three days a week, Tuesday Thursday and Friday. Boot Camp will last for one full hour, including warm-up and cool-down. All that we ask is that you arrive on time and ready to go. Boot Camp starts promptly at 6:30 p.m.

What should I bring with me to Boot Camp?

Ware comfortable clothing. Bring your own exercise mat, a small set of hand weights (5 or 8 pounds is sufficient unless you are very advanced), a water bottle and running shoes. All of these items can be purchased very inexpensively at WAL*MART, or Target.

You may also want to bring a towel
The most important thing for you to bring is a positive, can-do attitude and the willingness and desire to have fun with the other campers just like you! The social element of Boot Camp is a vital part of your success. The camaraderie and support is tremendous. Everyone works together as a team, inspiring and being inspired.

What sort of results can I expect to achieve at Boot Camp?

You can expect to see your body become toned, tighter and considerably more firm. Your energy levels will soar. Stress will be totally controlled, and in some cases, even disappear.

Your stamina and strength will increase, your body fat will decrease by as much as 3% - 8%, you can lose a minimum of 5lbs – 20lbs, your thighs and butt will firm up, your tummy flatten. Inches will literally “melt” away as you add lean muscle and lose unwanted fat. Your skin will glow, your eyes clear, and you’ll sleep like a baby.

I know, I know, that sounds like “bull.” All I can say is this: once you experience it, you WILL believe it. And in addition to all that, you’ll meet great people, make some new friends and have a heckuva lot of fun!

What if I just want to try the camp before I commit to full registration?

You are certainly welcome to do that. We offer a “two week FREE trial” option so you can see if its right for you. I hope you can see we make this very fair for anyone to try before they buy, and all we ask is that you show up and give it a go!

Do you have a refund policy?
Yes, here are the details:

  • If you are unable to attend camp due to circumstances out of your control, we will give you a full refund if you notify us at least one full week prior to your session start date.

 

  • If you are unable to attend camp due to circumstances out of your control, and notify us less than one week prior to your session start date, we will provide you with a refund less $50.00 cancellation fee (because we are not able to give your spot to someone else at this late date).

 

  • If we are notified of your inability to attend after your session begins, we can give you a credit towards another boot camp at a later date.


Do you guarantee results?

Yes. Absolutely. If you follow the program as instructed and attend  three days a week and still do not get results, you can request and receive a full refund of your tuition. It’s worth noting that this has never occurred to date, and we do not anticipate that it ever will, but we offer it nonetheless to ensure you feel 100% confident that we stand behind Virginia's Sexy Body  Boot Camp  and are fully committed to helping you get your body back!

You should fully understand that you should not expect noticable results if you are less than 90% compliant to BOTH our exercise program and our nutrition program.

How quickly can I expect to see results in the mirror?

You should see results within 14 days, depending on how much effort you put into it. Again, it’s all about attitude. If you show up ready to put in the effort while you’re at boot camp, and you follow our nutritional plan while you’re away from boot camp, you can expect to see real transformational results by the end of four weeks. 1-2 dress size reduction, 3-8% body fat reduction and a minimum of 5-12 pounds of weight lost, is not uncommon and absolutely within your grasp. We’ll help you every step of the way, and motivate you to succeed!

What happens when the 4-week camp ends?

Well that’s up to you. If you’d like, you can enroll in the next camp and keep the progress going. Most people will choose this option after seeing their results, and how motivational and supportive the environment is, and how comparatively inexpensive it is for the value you get.
